In Nido Group we are manufacturers and installers of the chain link fence better Known as “cyclone fence”, chain link fencing is one of the most popular types of fencing available. Due to its popularity, chain link fence costs are relatively low when compared to other fencing options though this does vary by situation and requirements. The “open wave” design makes it easy to see through chain link fence and is thus a top choice when it comes to sports applications such as tennis courts and ball parks.

At Nido Group we weave our own chain link fence using Bergandi machines. These machines give us the capability to weave virtually all gauges of chain link fencing and heights can vary from 26 inches all the way up to twelve feet. All of our wire is galvanized which gives the wire an all around more consistent coating and results in a cleaner looking finished product. We can also provide Vinyl coated chain link fence and aluminum coated chain link.

Galvanized Chain Link Fence

Fencing coated with zinc can be galvanized either before or after the chain is woven. Zinc is the most common coating for a chain link fence. Galvanizing before weaving gives the wire a more consistent, clean appearance. Galvanized wire increases the durability of chain link fences. This type of fence looks great in backyards and around athletic fields. These galvanized fences can last for years with a minimum of maintenance.

Galvanized Chain Link Fence is produced in a variety of gauges and mesh sizes, and is produced in heights of 3’, 4’, 5’, 6’, 7’, 8’, 9’, 10’, and 12’

Gauge – refers to the diameter of the wire used to produce the fabric; the higher the gauge number the smaller the wire diameter.

Mesh Size – is the clear distance between parallel wires forming a diamond; the smaller the mesh size, the tighter the fabric.

Selvage – refers to the way the individual ends of the wire are finished after being woven together. The wire can be “knuckled” to avoid sharp ends or “Twisted” when more security is required.

Alu-Zinc Chain Link Fence

Alu-Zinc chain link fencing resists corrosion and weathering. It can last for as long as 25 years. Aluminum chain link is commonly used around schools and commercial properties because of its flexibility and durability. Aluminum coated chain link is also available. Pick aluminum if building a fence in a corrosive environment.

All vinyl chain link fencing comes with a galvanized coat on the wire core for increased durability.
